#saveToondahHarbour postcard making

Join the Toondah Postcard Project!

A collection of beautiful postcards made at our #saveToondahHarbour postcard making on Saturday 19 August are on their way to the Ministers making the decision to either save or destroy this precious RAMSAR site.

This project is the initiative of artists Mary Pulford and Rhyl Henzell, with Kate Gorringe-Smith and the text below comes from them.

Further details about the #saveToondahHarbour Project : so even if you couldn’t come, you can do your own:

Create an Eastern Curlew postcard.

This must be 10 cm x 15cm, landscape or portrait. Printmaking is strongly encouraged, but all media will be accepted. The more who participate, the more voices will be heard. Use the #SaveToondahHarbour slogan on the back of each postcard. Post to either/both Queensland or federal environment ministers, plus one to Overwintering Project Co-ordinator @kategorringesmith for a future exhibition (addresses below). Put an image of your postcard on Social media, with the hashtags #SaveToondahHarbour and #ToondahPostcardProject so we can support each other and see the project grow!
