A new art group for women affected by sexual assault and / or family violence will start on Friday 12 October.  I am offering these small creative groups  in five-week blocks.  The groups can include working with clay, painting, mosaic and drawing.

Art for soothing & strengthening will provide women with skills, support and encouragement to create.  Women who have attended previous groups I run tell me that creating art as part of a community makes them feel relaxed, less anxious, happy and creative, and more able to manage the ups and downs of life.  The groups are small – maximum of nine members.

Le Studio is a warehouse space that has been converted into a creative space.  The warehouse is divided into studio spaces, as well as communal spaces.   There are also wonderful creative evenings and showcases held here from time to time.
